Once being very highly video art-focused, Non-Bio has not had the opportunity to release any new promo videos since 2018. This can now, happily be rectified with the release of the music video for Ialnd In A Lake of Spinal Fluid, the opening track from the new album Monkey Feather.

As has been evidenced many times in the past, Non-Bio is still very much immersed in a somewhat retro cyberpunk aesthetic and this is shamelessly apparent in the new video which is almost entirely CGI animated. Some of the imagery in the video has been inspired by AI art apps such as Midjourney, although all the visuals shown within the video have been designed by human hand.

The design and animation was all done using Maya and Zbrush and depicts a dystopian future world governed by nightmare logic. Perhaps one day our feeling of alienation will manifest itself as a world in which we all look alien.
